After being down by 9 in the second half vs Indiana, the Gophers dug down a little deeper and said not today. Following that, a 12-0 run to give the ladies a lead, finishing the game out scoring the Hoosiers 19-4 in the final 7:52 giving Minnesota momentum to finish out for not only they're first road win of the season but the 3rd win in a row and a chance to go from 11th place in the conference to 8th place in just 10 days.
Now 8th place may not sound like much at first but when you take into account that the Gophers were win less in the conference 11 days ago and had every reason to fold just as they did last year with a senior heavy line-up.
Well this is not last year and the only evidence of the problems of 2009-2010 is the fact that this group is basically saying not this time - not this year - not again.
