The Kammron Taylor Komplete Player Basketball Camp

written by Tamara Moore

Former Minneapolis North and Wisconsin standout Kammron Taylor organized the first annual Kammron Taylor Komplete Player Basketball Camp in which he offered his expertise to children who love the game of basketball. Taylor wanted to give back to the community by offering a free skills camp to all kids ages 9-16. The camp was run this weekend at Richard Green Central Gymnasium where a host of former teammates, pro's and college players help Taylor conduct an outstanding skills camp for aspiring young athlete's.

With kids of all types of skill levels Taylor was able to create an atmosphere of positivity and hope. Taylor enlisted the help of a few former standouts in the Minneapolis community. Notable names to mention: Former NBA Players Trent Tucker and John Thomas, Former WNBA Player Tamara Moore, College Athletes Mia Johnson of Michigan State, and Overseas Athlete DeAndre Townsend currently playing in Germany. Also Brother and Sister Kerek Taylor 3 Time State Champion with Minneapolis North and Krystal Taylor 2 Time State Champion and Valapriso Graduate.

The camp was definitely a huge success and its something that shows that athletes definitely do give back.
