Jim Peterson Previews Lynx vs Sparks

The red-hot Minnesota Lynx return to Target Center on Wednesday night after an impressive 2-0 start to the 2009 season. Minnesota crushed Chicago and Indiana by scoring a combined 198 points in the first two games.

Assistant coach Jim Petersen looks back at the record-setting start for the Lynx, "We felt we could do a good job against Chicago. You know we are a running and fast breaking team. They were the slowest team in terms of pace of play in the entire WNBA last year, so I just think it was one of those games where it was the size and skill of Chicago vs. the speed and determination of the Lynx. Obviously when you score 102 points, we are in really great shape. Our players are just making shots right now, so it's fun to watch."

While at the practice facility on Tuesday morning, Petersen offers an exclusive preview of the matchup on Wednesday night against the Los Angeles Sparks. Check out full interview
