U of M Women's Program Has a New Coach

There is a lot going on in the last 12 hours at the U of M women's basketball office.

First, as first reported on www.kjasr.com, Barb Smith, Associate Head Coach for the University of Minnesota, resigned effective today. The reason to be given is expected to be "Burn out".

Then in the last few hours, again as reported on www.kjasr.com, Kelly Roysland is to be announced as the newest assistant coach.

An unconfirmed rumor is that Abby Kershaw, Director of Basketball Operations, has also given notice and will be done this month as well.

The moves by Abby Kershaw and Barb Smith were/are unrelated.
