Basketball coaches seem to always stress to their players the importance of rebounding in a team's wins or losses. At practices, chances are pretty good that you'll hear a coach encouraging players to "Hit the boards!" or to "Follow the shot!" or to "Dive for that ball!"
The University of Minnesota women's basketball team is going to continue focusing on rebounding, as it always has under ninth-year head coach Pam Borton. But, this year, for the first time in Borton's tenure at Minnesota, the Golden Gophers will be looking to rebound from a losing record.
